Building Resilient Bio-based UK Supply Chains Workshop

This one-day workshop, organised by BBIA, HVB, the Biorenewables Development Centre and Biomass Connect, aims to investigate the opportunities and challenges for UK bio-based supply chains to high value chemicals and materials.

The programme will examine the potential of UK bio-based supply chains to enable economic growth, as well as to defossilise industry. We will explore the needs of key industry players, and consider the processes and mechanisms needed to develop effective, new supply chains from biomass to product.

Through invited talks and discussion, we aim to unpick the major challenges and develop recommendations for progress in this area.
