This two-day event will be hosted at the University of Leeds, with the opportunity to take part in a site visit either to the Drax power station in Selby or to the Enfinium waste-to-energy plant in Ferrybridge. Both site visits will offer insights into the latest carbon capture innovations.

Day 1 will feature a site visit to the Drax power station in Selby or the Enfinium Ferrybridge plant, a research talk from Dr Daya Pandey from the University of Leeds, followed by a networking dinner and drinks.

Day 2 includes lab tours at the University of Leeds, a 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) training session, a presentation from Dr Andrew Ross from the University of Leeds, and networking opportunities with researchers, academics and industry professionals.

This event is a great opportunity for ECRs from across the UK to come together, enhance their knowledge and skills, and network with colleagues from across the renewable energy space.
