The month of June has been another busy one at the Biomass Connect Demonstrator Hubs. Things have dried out so catching up with weeding, mowing and spraying has been possible at all sites.
- Sida, reed canary grass and switchgrass have been planted/sown in the perennial grasses demo plots.
- Various crops have been gapped up and those previously gapped up are starting to grow at most sites.
- An SRF Italian poplar trial has been planted at the site in Ayrshire.
- The Rothamsted Research team have carried out site inspections at some sites. Comments from their reports are included in the individual demonstrator hub updates.
As usual, there are links to updates from the demonstrator hubs below for you to see what has been happening around the country.
